to foster inner shift towards emotional liberation in music legacy of J.S.Bach*:
LIBERATE J.S.BACH!
and remember to add the video of your passionate performance of his music, to help fostering the important international discourse on the root cause of most of our society's paralysis, reflected by the timeless Music Genius J.S.Bach - EMOTIONAL SELF-REPRESSION
Having the new sense of the official permission to enjoy emotional freedom in the process of interacting with J.S.Bach, based on learning the underpublicized biographical facts, it can be helpful to have a strategy for the logistics of facilitating the inner change. The restructuring of the performances of once learned piece of music needs to start with identification of the specific differences in executing utilized by J.S.Bach compositional devices that will be DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT in the new rendition. Then, follow up with the creation of the new performance plan for the EMOTIONALLY INFUSED AND ANALYTICALLY BALANCED performance, including both the analysis of the intimate details as well as the global perspective of THE CLIMACTIC DEVELOPMENT of entire piece:
WE UNDERSTAND THAT SHIFTING PERSPECTIVE ONLY STARTS WITH MAKING A DECISION TO DO SO, BUT TO SUCCEED, IT TAKES MINDFUL APPROACH TO RE-PATERNING OF OLD SYNAPTIC NETWORKS THAT CORRESPOND TO OLD HABITS
We offer retraining online and in-person workshops (click to be placed on the WAITLIST)
SHARE WITH US SOME OF ALL ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS AND ADD YOUR OWN IDEAS TOO
Can you identify all polyphonic elements in the given piece that had been used in the polyphonic structure of the piece? Have you made the micro-motivic analysis of the melodic structure of all polyphonic elements, such as the Subject, Counter-Subjects, etc.? Can you identify the melodic climax in these elements and do you understand how it is achieved? Can you grasp the emotional expression of each element and describe it with words-labels, with elemental drawings, with expression through dance-like movement?
Can you recognize each tonal key modulation in the piece from the perspective of tonal harmony? Have you made harmonic analysis of the piece and how each harmonic change would impact on the emotional development in your new rendition? Had the sense of climax emerged anew, shifted, deepened? Had it remained somewhat close to the original concept, or transcended into the opposite dimension? Are there sections of the piece where inner climaxes can be found, and how do they lead towards the main climax of the piece?
Have you found the special new technical solution (like the focus on a new “move”) to overcome the motor inertia to be the key for the sought after change, or instead, did you notice how the change emerged easier from focusing on a new metaphor? Does it help to shift to the new performance strategy by focusing on the elements from the analysis of the broader horizontal polyphonic structure, or instead, by focusing more on the vertical harmonic development, or does the sum of both of the above help the most to break from the performance habit that must seize?
Have you found that taking a break from targeted practice and allowing for the extra time for inner shift was the most productive, or have you noticed that much of the focused and repetitive practice is the most effective in your case? Have you noticed how the sleep effects the change you are trying to foster? Have you noticed how the impacts of your environment effect your ability to focus in the sought after change, including exposure to the toxic substances, such as harmful chemicals of various types (chlorine, formaldehyde, pesticides (vs. organic food), water (filtered vs. tap), other indoors and outdoors air quality factors (fire smoke, artificial fragrances, as featured in the visionary STINK! documentary)
.
Does the new emergence of your ideas for changes in your performance appear simple to be achieved, or contrary, does it feel overwhelming and even close to impossible (and do you know why)? Have you noticed that it may be easier to shape a new piece by practicing new emotionally/intellectually balanced approach to J.S.Bach, than to reshape the earlier performance concept of the familiar piece? Have you realized any benefits of pursuing the change despite the challenges? How will your strive towards achieving the new, balanced vision for performing J.S.Bach's music benefit your ability to acquire inner change and to become more flexible in other parts of your reality, outside of music?
Could people around you appreciate the benefits from learning how to master the approach to inner change through musical embodiment? Would sharing of your experience create the space of trust for the release of their emotional withdrawal?
Did you observe if any subjects interfere consistently with your focus on the music, any current disruptions, or/and any memories came back from the past, and brought any answers to your present? Do the memories of learning the revisited piece bring up the images of people who were around the time when the piece was performed first? Could these people be still interested to hear about your journey into the realm of emotional self-liberation, reflected through the same piece performed completely differently, and what could be their anticipated response? How does the gained awareness relate to your current and past reality? Does it offer the answers, or does it pose difficult questions and make you aware of the complexities that call for more pondering and inquiry?
Did J.S.Bach teach you to see beyond the hurt of your trauma, by seeing how it was caused by people, who could do nothing, but to enact the unsolved trauma of their own? Have you had any important lessons that could not be learned otherwise, without going through the traumatic experiences? Do you think people who had caused your emotional hurt could be receptive to hearing the reflection of your experience in the newly emerged interpretation of the piece, out of universal desire for reaching the peace, or not at this time? Would they understand your message of compassion, passed on from the timeless compassionate counselor J.S.Bach, if it would be accompanied by the musical pathway towards their own healing of their past that led them into perpetrating the vicious circle of trauma? Could music of J.S.Bach help them arrive to the place of inner safety to share their intimate stories of their coming to peace and healing their past from the point of radical forgiveness?
How does the practice of making the shift from one performance strategy to another help you approach other challenging changes in your mind, how does it helps you master your mind and grow to a better You, being applied in other realms of life, beyond music?
After regaining emotional engagement with J.S.Bach’s music, can the abstract representations of the Subject and other elements and their musical interactions and development act as the matrix for resembling any specific events (fictional or from the real life, or combination of both)? Had you have any links to your personal reality in your earlier interpretation of the piece, and what was their value for you personally, if any, or did it serve as the mechanical exercise in polyphonic structure in the past? Have you tried to help others find their OWN personal narrative ideas to choreograph the piece through new emotionally engaging interpretive concept? What can be the impacts of your narrative, if it can be revealed in detail, and can it serve as the example for creating authentic imagery for overcoming emotional inner barriers?
